Betting Exactas the SMART Way

Find those OVERLAYS!

The betting public does a remarkably good job at determining the win probabilities of the horses in a race, but does a poor job of constructing realistic exacta combinations. Bets placed on birthdays, wedding dates and "lucky" numbers provide money that could go into your pocket. What's more, most exacta bettors are "box crazy."

In the corners of a craps table you'll find two boxes marked "Big 6" and "Big 8" If you put a chip on the "Big 6" you're making an even money bet that a 6 will be rolled before a 7. Same thing for the "Big 8" But, if instead of putting your chip in the "convenient" box, you hand it to the dealer and tell 'em you want to "buy a 6" you'll be making the same bet except that the house will now give 7 to 6 odds in your favor!

Why do people bet on the "Big 6" instead of getting odds by buying a 6? For the same reason that most people buy exacta boxes at the track. There're easy, convenient and take little thought, and, they don't know any better!

Our eBook, "Betting Exactas the SMART Way," will show you why you should hardly ever box an exacta, and NEVER box the two favorites. It will show you how to avoid the exacta bets that are nearly always underlays, and show you how to find overlays. It will explain why the second best choice to win is not usually the best choice to come in second. It will show you how to structure intelligent exacta wagers in various race scenarios. It even includes an analysis of ALL exacta opportunities on 3/25/2006!

And, it even includes a pre-designed Microsoft Excel spreadsheet which will help you identify the overlays in the exacta wagering pool.

As shown above, you simply enter the odds (your own personal odds, if possible, or the track odds) on each horse and the betting "edge" you demand. The spreadsheet calculates the payoff required to make each combination of horses a "good" bet. (Note that there are no odds or payoffs for the 5 horse, which was a scratch). You just watch the board and pick out the overlays. For example, in the race shown above (the 1st at Aqueduct on 2/11/2006), the 7-2 exacta needed to pay $33 to meet the required 50% edge. A few minutes before post time, it was posted as paying an estimated $35, making it a bet. The 7-2 exacta did come in, paying $38.00!

The eBooklet, with spreadsheet, is a bargain at only $9.95. Buy NOW, before you miss another opportunity!
