Each record contains the Date, Track, Race No., Distance, Surface, Type of Race, Age/Sex Restrictions and the number of horses entered.  There's a record for each horse, which also contains the Name, Weight(*), Earnings/Start(*), Morning Line(*), Days Away(*),  Average Days Away(*), Ratio of Days Away to Ave Days Away(*), and from its last race, Normalized Final Time(*), Stretch Gain(*), Speed Rating(*), Speed Points(*), Beaten Lengths(*), the computed Sartin Methodology (velocity)figures for the 1st Fraction, 2nd Fraction, Final Fraction(*), Early Pace(*), Sustained Pace(*), Average Pace(*) and X-Factor(*). 

In addition, it includes the rank of the horse versus the others entered for each of the items marked with (*). Finally, for the horses which finished the race, each record also contains the finish position, beaten lengths and actual (final) odds.

The database is supplied on CD in two formats, Microsoft Access 2000 and as a comma-delimited text file.  (A concise description of the Sartin Methodology can be found in MODERN PACE HANDICAPPING, by Tom Brohamer).
